These are the ‘best’ American cities for tenants now – with a region away from NYC dominating in Top 10

Fly south, apartment hunters.

A new Ranter report of 150 American cities based on the cost of living, the local economy and the overall quality of life completely ignores Apple and the large surroundings.

On the contrary, a host of southern meter regions included the annual rental ranking – leaving people filled with people in the northeast and the west coast in the dust.

“The cost of living, which is weighted, really improved for the southern cities,” said Doug Ressler, business intelligence manager at Yardi Matrix, who provides the Rentcafe’s date.

The south not only prevailed ten major reports of the report, but received a three -quarter of the 50 best, too.

Metros in Texas, Florida and George occupied the podium, with McKinney, Texas, reigning supreme.

Ressler told The Post that while public transport offered an increase in rankings for well -linked northern cities, their southern counterparts withdrew thanks to strong recovery after the Fandemia and increased job offers.

McKinney, a flowering suburb of Dallas, offers tenants “big city skills in a small city environment”, according to the report, including a average cost lower than living, a strong labor market and abundant green space.

Nearly 35% of McKinney’s rental inventory was built in the last five years, and 83% of units are considered “high end”.

Beachy Sarasota, FL and Bustling Atlanta won second and third places, respectively.

The renigation ranks were filtered by three main metrics: the cost of living and housing, the local economy and the quality of life. While some cities offered an excellent increase in work, others excelled thanks to a large green or short travel space.

The order for these considerations reveals an extremely different geography of hot spots.

While Myrtle Beach took the top spot for the cost of living and shelter, Miami won for her local flowering economy.

Despite a poor overall show, shoe apartments in the popular cities of the east coast remain a hot community. Tenants are still loyal to places like Philadelphia and Boston to enjoy rich cultural and social problems, despite the greatest costs.

To the small surprise, an increasingly costly Manhattan was ranked last in the housing and the cost of living-the most weighted on the ratio of rental rents.

Brooklyn and Queens also collided near the end of the list.

The largest city in the world, however, ranked fifth for the quality of life and the seventh for economic benefits.
