Maine’s coastal house where Bette Davis raised her family after leaving Hollywood has listed $ 15 million

Bette Davis, a legend of the Golden Age of Hollywood, left behind Tinseltown for this $ 15 million asset.

The 8 hectare property in New England coast has more to boast than its fascinating past, however. The wealth, located along the southern coast of Maine, boasts 1,200 square meters of ocean front.

The late Hollywood icon owned the 8 hectare property for nearly a decade during the 1950s, according to Robb Report. Davis gave her home spreading soft nickname, “Witch Way”.

Davis shared ways with property in the 1960s, after her divorce from Merrill. Davis passed away at the age of 81 in 1989.

The 7,600 -square -meter farm residence that stands on the property has little resistance for the country Davis called home during the 1950s, but it still has all the charm. The last property sold for $ 3.75 million in 2016, according to Zillow. The carriage house was sold separately on an off -market deal, according to Robb Report, for $ 1.45 million.
