Bette Davis, a legend of the Golden Age of Hollywood, left behind Tinseltown for this $ 15 million asset.
The 8 hectare property in New England coast has more to boast than its fascinating past, however. The wealth, located along the southern coast of Maine, boasts 1,200 square meters of ocean front.
The late Hollywood icon owned the 8 hectare property for nearly a decade during the 1950s, according to Robb Report. Davis gave her home spreading soft nickname, “Witch Way”.

In a 2014 interview with Portland’s monthly magazine, Davis Michael’s son recalled his father holding lobster traps in the Liman and arranging a local hockey team there in their coastal city of Cape Elizabeth.

The 7,600 -square -meter farm residence that stands on the property has little resistance for the country Davis called home during the 1950s, but it still has all the charm. The main suite, one of the five bedrooms, includes a sitting area, a walking closet and a free foot bath.
The coastal oasis is at the top by an octagonal dome – perfect to see coastal storarms roll on the granite coast.
The ranking, held by Bill Gaynor and Sam Michaud by Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty, advertises a large front lawn, a barn, an area for farm animals, a pond and a square foot carriage. The latter, built in 2002, includes a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The last property sold for $ 3.75 million in 2016, according to Zillow. The carriage house was sold separately on an off -market deal, according to Robb Report, for $ 1.45 million.
