From Bravo to Broadway, Andy Cohen is an official saying goodbye to his long home.
Emmy’s playwright and winning screenwriter Danny Strong and his partner, actor and producer Caitlin Mehner, have officially closed at the Duplex Penthouse West Village for his full $ 12 million price, the post has learned.
The deal, which was finalized on June 26, captures a quick transaction that entered into a contract just over a month ago.
The 3,500 -square -foot collaboration, located on 2 Horaratio Street, was convened for over two decades from Cohen, Star Bravo and producer after “Watch What Happens Live” and “Top Chef”.
Designed by architect Gordon Kahn with the interior by Eric Hughes, the house is known for its bold color use, comprehensive manhattan monuments and customary details – including a sculptural walnut, steel and glass stairs that connect its levels.
Strong, whose musical chess goes to Broadway this fall, called Dupleksin “My Dream Hom”, saying before the post, “We are so excited we are moving there.”
He and Mehner, young parents of a 7 -month -old girl, had asked for more room to accommodate their growing family.
Purchase also marks a little a change of real estate.
Strong is on the contract to sell his current residence in 299 West 12th Street-construction designed by Sam Emery Roth, where Cohen just bought a new pentouse for $ 18.21 million, The Post reported.
This unit is reported to contain over 2,000 square meters of outdoor space, something Cohen had long been looking for.
“Outdoor space was the decision! I have always coveted the outdoor space,” Cohen People told. “There is an inventory death in the western village with outdoor space, so when I found something that was significant enough for me to leave my dream apartment … That’s what he got.”
The sale also marked a professional milestone for real estate mediator and former million dollars ranking New York Star Ryan Serhant, who shared the news of the contract on Instagram again in May.
“Congrats @bravoandy,” he wrote, adding, “Thank you for entrusting me and @Serhant with your home.” Serhant later told the New York Times, “Onhe one of those treasures you expect your whole career away.”
Cohen initially ranked $ 14 million in September 2024 before cutting the price of $ 2 million earlier this year.
Duplex eventually found a buyer after about eight months in the market.
Serhant and Donna Strugatz of Serhant represented the list, while Jonathan Stein of Douglas Elliman represented strong.
Inside, the house contains 4.5 bathrooms, two fireplaces with wood burning, wide oak floors and 25 windows offering views of Jackson Square Park, Empire State Building and Chrysler building.
The main suite boasts a custom dressing room, a corner bath with a tic bath and a marble steam shower. Other highlights include a varnished bar, a powder room with gold tiles, and a kitchen of a cheese -cobalt chef.
Strong is best known for the scriptting Reunt, Butler, Dopesick and two hunger game films.
